The Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling is currently open to On-Campus students only.We hope to make it available to On-Line students in the the near future.It is a two year degree which is designed to prepare the student to competently counsel in all matters within the context of the local church.We seek only to provide a Christ-centered solution to problems not requiring a medical doctor.The Master’s program in Biblical Counseling is open only to ordained Baptist ministers.Students enrolling in this program without a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies or the equivalent will be required to make up a minor Biblical Studies consisting of 18 semester hours.A Research and Writing course is required along with a course in Systematic Theology which provides the theological basis for Christian counseling.Othe course titles include Fundamentals of Biblical Counseling, The Practice of Biblical Counseling, General Pyschology, Crisis Counseling, Premarital Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, Eating Disorders, Drug Addiction, Alcohol Addiction, Pornography Addiction, and Homosexuality.With faculty approval, students can choose to write a Thesis for six hours credit.For more information, please contact the Dean.
